Bengali Students' Association at Virginia Tech

Officially founded in 2007, the main purpose of Bengali Students' Association (BSA) at Virginia Tech is to promote cultural diversity in the Hokie nation through awareness about Bengali culture, literature, and cuisine. Many of the graduate students spend close to 5 years in VT essentially making it a home away from their homes. We celebrate two main festivals, Durga Pujo in Fall and Saraswati Pujo in Spring. Over the years, these events have crossed the regional boundaries and has attracted students from all around the world. We also collaborate with Association for Bangladeshi Students' in their celebrations of International Mother Language Day and Bengali New Year.
